Our Mission

The Fayetteville PACT mission is to create a police-community taskforce of civilians for civilian oversight entities that seek to make local law enforcement agencies transparent, accountable, and responsible to the communities they serve.

Fayetteville PACT will address all injustices and encourage equality no matter race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religious and national origin representation.

About Fayetteville PACT

Who we are & why we exist

Fayetteville PACT was established in 2015 by Shaun McMillian and Kathy Greggs, both of whom are US Army combat veterans.

Shaun was deeply troubled by the deaths of Tamir Rice and Trayvon Martin. He began researching the Fayetteville Police Department's data on racial profiling, specifically “driving while Black.”

Today the organization works to end mass incarceration, racial profiling, selective enforcement, and excessive force in policing — building real accountability between communities and the agencies that serve them.
